How HYTORC Built an Employee-Favorite Workplace Yoga & Meditation Program

Three years and counting of workplace wellness with HYTORC.

For more than three years, ThriveHub has partnered with HYTORC to deliver workplace yoga and meditation programming for its New Jersey employees.

What started as a wellness initiative has become an anticipated part of the employee experience—and the partnership continues to grow.

The Challenge

HYTORC wanted to give employees dedicated time to step away from their desks, reduce stress, and support both their physical and mental well-being. They also needed a program that was simple to manage and flexible enough to fit around busy business cycles.

ThriveHub's Solution

ThriveHub designed a seasonal wellness program featuring weekly onsite sessions with:

  • 30 minutes of yoga

  • 30 minutes of guided meditation

  • The flexibility for employees to attend either session or stay for both

To simplify administration, we tailored the registration portal according to client preferences and gave the wellness coordinator complete visibility into attendance. The client can view registrations, register employees on their behalf, manage cancellations, and share registration links internally to encourage participation.

Every session also triggers an automatic feedback survey, providing continuous insight into the employee experience and helping us refine the program over time.

A Program That Fits HYTORC’s Culture

Rather than offering the same class every week, ThriveHub's instructor continually adapts sessions based on employee preferences and experience levels.

According to the client's wellness coordinator, employees enjoy being challenged. The instructor regularly introduces new movements and more advanced poses while still offering modifications so every participant—from first-timers to experienced yogis—can participate comfortably.

The result is a program that feels both inclusive and engaging, encouraging employees to keep coming back season after season.

More Than Exercise

One of the biggest benefits has been creating a shared experience for employees.

Rather than thinking about deadlines or work, participants become completely focused on their breathing and movement during class. That dedicated mental break helps employees disconnect from the workday while also strengthening relationships with coworkers through a shared wellness experience.

"ThriveHub's yoga classes give employees dedicated time to disconnect from work and focus on themselves. The classes are approachable and inclusive, so everyone can participate without feeling intimidated."

— Sonia N. Nater, PHR, Benefits Administrator at HYTORC

Leadership participation has also played an important role. Both the wellness coordinator and their manager regularly attend classes, helping normalize participation and encourage employees to join.

What Employees Say

Employee feedback has remained remarkably consistent throughout the three-year partnership.

Participants frequently describe the instructor as:

  • "Fantastic."

  • "Patient."

  • "Knowledgeable."

  • "The reason I keep coming back."

Employees have also shared comments like:

"Best half hour of my workweek."

"The class was a good mixture of strengthening, stretching, and mindfulness."

"Danielle presents a new challenge every week."

"For that half hour, you forget you're at work."

Several employees have even requested longer classes—always a good sign that the program has become something people genuinely value.
